Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch
Wednesday at noon the legendary singer, songwriter, and ten- time Grammy award winning recording artist Chaka Khan will kick off the Live! On Woodrow Wilson Plaza summer lunch concert series at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. The Live! on Woodrow Wilson Plaza free summer series features an eclectic mix of world-renowned entertainers in a variety of flavors, such as African dance, Celtic folk songs, jazz violin, hip hop, Latin swing and pop rock.
The performances take place every weekday from June 3 until September 25 when the season concludes with Washington, DC’s Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown. The shows start at 12:00noon and run until 1:30 p.m. Federal Triangle is the closest Metro station. Free seating is available and visitors can brown bag or grab lunch at any of the restaurants located in the plaza.
