Tuesday, November 10 the Smithsonian African American History Museum is sponsoring the world premiere screening of Choc’late Soldiers from the USA”: Sex, Race, and Rhythm in the Ring Auditorium on the first level of the Hirshorn Museum at 6:30PM. This landmark documentary explores how African American soldiers and British civilians form an unexpected bond during World War II, when some 140,000 African American soldiers fought in Europe. After the screening, filmmaker along with veterans who appear in the film will offer commentary and take questions from the audience. This is event is free and open to the public.
